The Institute of Political History, Budapest invites applications from graduate students (including PhD students) or holders of an MA degree for four Research Assistant positions within the framework of the ERC funded project NEPOSTRANS – Negotiating post-imperial transitions: from remobilization to nation-state consolidation. The research assistants will prepare
- a preliminary survey of archival material
- a preliminary biography of newspaper articles
- a survey of less accessible publications
in Austrian, Slovak, Czech, Romanian, Croat, Polish, Hungarian, Ukrainian archives and libraries. Work at distance is possible, the applicant should work in one or two of the countries.
The RAs work under the guidance of the PI, the surveys should be finished by September 30, 2018. The RAs will receive a gross remuneration of 3000 euros. Travel and accommodation cost will be covered up to a limit defined in the contract.
